This map from the Center for Biological Diversity leaves a lot to be desired aesthetically in my opinion, but the basic function is all there -- it's a great and easy to use resource to get a quick list of endangered species in an area. It emphasizes function over form, which I suppose is the correct decision when treating those as distinct options.
